My Dad

Dad and Mum first lived in Leamore Street very near Hammersmith Broadway.

Dad was a musician who played by ear. He did not read music. And played the piano and ukulele (A small four-stringed guitar (Hawaiian)) and the mandolin..

At parties etc he would tell a monologue  The Green Eye of the Little Yellow God

In WW2 Dad did rescue work with the ARP

In 1939 they moved to 165 Emlyn Gardens in Shepherds Bush just on border of Acton.

Then in 1959 we purchased 29 Riverview Grove
